Does this mean that we will not be getting a base model D4 until November 2013 (now that the 2.7 D4 is not available)? The lowest spec you can go is the SE or have I missed something?
.....
No, I understand there will be a base model (replacement for the 2.7) but I think its arrival is delayed till jan/feb 2013. I was told it would be a 'detuned' 3.0 with the same basic features as the 2.7 tdv6. But who knows. Looking forward to an official announcement from LRA.
Hmmm, Family Travellers did something happen to your post regarding the " " speed being fitted to the MY13 Discovery's?
The article was from last year, my apologies for the confusion.
Has anyone got an update on delivery of the new Disco with 8-speed?
I can't make my mind up whether to get current model 6-speed (some bargains around) or hang out for the 8-speed...
Apparently, Land Rover are releasing the details for the 2013 Discovery over the next few days at the Paris Auto Show, which started 29th. So our dealers should get the specs and prices shortly after that.
I'm hoping within the week... :)
Cheers Scott
I'd love to know what sort of $ a MY13 8 Speed "detune" 3l is going to come out at. I am losing a lot of sleep over taking the plunge on a runout SE. If the MY13 base models are cheap, it would give me an incentive to delay the decision and keep saving up.
