Looks like I'll have to grab that facia, as mine would need too much trimming. It seems it's only for single DIN head units! I wrongly assumed the "Double DIN with pocket" meant the pocket was optional - clearly not! :(

I think mine came with a pocket or I had one spare that slotted underneath my single din radio.

I must when I looked at you link to the facia I thought it was a single din with pocket but on reading it I took it to mean it was either and to turn it to a double din the pocket just popped out.

Not a good description then.

The pocket just pops out leaving me with what I thought is a double DIN facia, but there seems to be extra ribs for the pocket that get in the way when trying to fit the double DIN cage! :(

I trimmed mine to fit a double din when I went from a single din but also needed to buy a cage, would have been easier to buy a new double din facia kit.

Anyone know what the second connector on the back of the std head unit is? My guess is it's for steering controls, as I've tested without that plug in (just the larger one connected) and it functions normally (I don't have the steering controls).

Try this place they have gear that will fit. - look at the menus at the side to find what you need.

Interestingly, the facia that ebay store has listed looks the same as the one I have here! I wonder whether this other one will be the same when it gets here!? :mad:

This one is exactly the same as the facia I have here already, and the Sony double DIN cage doesn't fit! :(
