Thread: Unlocking tailgate on a D4

Yes got us too when stuck on a hill with the camper on, trying to open the tailgate to access the recovery gear we thought the back door was stuck due to mud and dirt, not very happy at the time.

Still catches me out though

What caught me out was having someone else who had opened the rear tailgate, then I put my foot on the brake and engaged drive, and THEN they tried to close it - hard

Took a while for us to free the lock so we could close it again ...............
