    Behind the black rectangle (it looks whitish due to flash) is a plastic bracket. The left hand side clips between teh dash and dash pad and the right hand side hooks over the recess towards the radio. With these style of mount there's no need to drill any holes etc.

    As for the LHD, whats for the author.

    I take it that to fit the clips are not universal and are car specific?

    My car isn't here so I just stole a pic from google images and the best one I could find was LHD.
