Is that worth a free tyre!

Can you let us know how they go? I have the AT3s and, whilst I love the grip, I have suffered no less than five ! punctures in six months! One of which was a sidewall and another one which cut cords below the tread. Consequently, that has meant two replacements long before the tyres wore out!

I assume that they are not the LT construction?

I'm fairly sure the at3s, in a disco/rrs friendly size aren't an Lt, hence I ended up going for D697s.

They are a bigger size 275/65/18's (unfortunately there s no diameter to work off) so it's going to be a matter of whether they fit but every review online raves about them and Boof was saying that a number of his clients in the timber industry out in Gippsland cant say a bad word about them. I'll be happy to be able to head away and not worry about my tyres!

G'day Runnadude like you I was having problems with my general grabbers not lasting out in the bush and replacing tyres it seemed like every time we went out, so instead of continuing down that path and potentially putting myself and my family in a bad situation I'm replacing all of the tyres with more capable tyres. My tyres would have only done 10-12,000kms

G'day Rohan that is a personal thing, don't let your car decide for you though create a car that is individual, with your rock sliders, led light bar and tyres it will look awesome, put the writing out and let everyone know you are not afraid to take your car out of the city!

Picked up the car today after getting the Falken Wildpeaks put on and to say I'm happy would be an understatement.......I finally have sidewalls! They are a 275/65/18's so it looks like I will need to run my Llams permanently on offroad height ( further tests are required to see where or if I'll scrub anywhere ). My initial thoughts are they are very sticky and quiet on road As I feel confident enough to floor it around corners without feeling I'm losing traction. I'm heading out on Sunday with a few of the boys on 4x4Earth headed by Kyle (Alien) so it will be interesting to see how they are offroad ( the real reason I got them ) and to be totally honest if I don't have to change another tyre again I will be a happy man, many thanks to Boof at Camberwell Tyrepower who went out of his way to make this happen as there were only 2 tyres in Vic in the size, mate your an absolute champion! I have attached a link which is just one of many positive reviews from the US that swayed me to these tyres. Now I've just got to get out there and enjoy them! I'll try and get photos up 2moro
