Not even a tiny, wafer thin after dinner mint?
So you need a bit of prodding ehhttp://www.lrrforums.com/images/smil..._pokestick.gif
Baz.
Alright, seeing as everyone loves pictures.......:D
This was it about ten days after the last picture, with the new oil pump and water pump in place.

Took a whole day to get it from the previous picture, to remove the starter motor, remove the crank bolt, remove and replace and oil pump and crank seal and then realise I had neglected to buy a new crank bolt.
That took another week.
The starter is an absolute bastard of a thing to remove. You need the arm strength of a gorilla, with fingers that can bend in three different ways at once.
I had thought the crank bolt was going to be the biggest pain in the bum, but that just took a 450mm shifter, with a 2m length of pipe for leverage.
And if you were in any doubt about the redesign of the oil pump housing, and how they have been snapping and introducing Mr Piston to Mr Valve, take a look at the top left hand corner of the old and new here:

Ok, so I'm going to dripfeed a couple of pictures a day, so I can bring it up to date.
Tomorrow - the interior. :D
Are you or did you replace any hoses while it was apart like this??
Baz.
Come on Sheerluck, interior pics? :)
