Mum has those on her liberty.
Hands down, noisiest tyres I've ever heard, muddies included.
If I was close by I'd come and help you out, I'm awful good and pulling things apart :D
Putting them back together, well, that's not my department :D

Well if she wants 4 spares......?
Muppet, hitting things repeatedly with a hammer does not necessarily constitute taking something apart :p
And a I've got to wait a few weeks until the boat arrives with the new big bits on before I can think about reassembly. :(
Nope, She wants the large dent The Phantom put in her bonnet gone
They're insanely noisy, really quite absurd.
Hey! I Object to that! When it comes to disassembly, I'm Weird Al:

It's when it comes to putting things back that I start getting violent :rocket:
Well I've spent part of the day attempting to paint my wheel arches, having bought myself a new HVLP paint gun to play with.
Made the mistake of not practicing with it first, and jumped straight into painting the basecoat (already primed appropriately). Couldn't get the flow right at all and got every paint defect known to man. Sags, runs and blisters all over.
Finally got things going right, just as I ran out of things to paint. Moral of the story, don't try anything working on anything essential with new or unfamiliar equipment.
Oh well, out with the wet and dry :(
Not much happened on this over the last 5 months, given that I've been laid low with a stuffed back, but it's now time to push on and get this finished.
To that end, Christmas came early last week with a load of big boxes fresh off the boat from Blighty.
It was a new bonnet, wing, dashboard, airbag, D4 grille, radiator cowling and a few smaller bits.
Was a bit disgruntled to be charged more for "Port Charges" (the cost of moving the container with my goods in it from the ship, moving the container to the bonded warehouse, unpacking the container and giving my goods) than it cost to get them from my sister's house in deepest rural Suffolk, to Southampton, then to Singapore, then to Brisbane. But hey, those last 400meters were the best, right?
But hey, the whole lot, including delivery cost me $1500, so I'm not really complaining!
Neighbour will be coming round with his welder this weekend to do the couple of bits of welding needed, and then it's up to me. Fair bit of painting to do, few smaller bits to buy, but it's all back on track.
The interior should be reassembled this week, providing I can find an AV cable to attach the rear camera (and providing I can remember where everything went!
Looking forward to seeing how it all turns out Dave. Don't forget post up some more progress shots so we can see what you're up to.
Coming along nicely mate, you'll have to come for a trundle down to the freezing hell-hole I call home for a drive once it's all back together :D
