Bugger. Didn't notice that the grille wasn't on
SWMBO was trying to stick one of the clips back on for me, afer a heavy handed fool managed to snap it off.![]()
Jeez you are demanding
Will put the grille back on tomorrow and take some more.![]()
Drives very well.
No detectable trace of undesirable handling, wandering, knocking etc. However, I'm looking to change the tyres to something different, as one of the Coopers had the tread start to separate from the carcass a couple of months ago, and two others have cracks visible in the sidewalls.
Will get those changed, and then a wheel alignment I reckon.
Just to prove she's a Land Rover though, the windscreen washer pump packed in last week, and the plastic cover i had made up to cover the vacant winch area in the bullbar decided to fall off somewhere.
So I've got an aluminium sheet to make a new one out of, just need to find a friendly person with CNC or laser cut facilities.
AND...after giving it a pressure wash underneath (still finding lumps of red dust, even after 2 years) 10 days ago, I keep getting a suspension error on first start up.![]()
What are the tyres Dave?

They're Cooper Zeon LTZs, in 285/60-18. I like the nice chunky look, but reading around it seems this is not an uncommon occurrence. Trying to find something I like the price of, without going near the cheapo crappy brands, is proving tricky.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
I'm thinking of this as like some sort of burlesque show.....reveal bit by bit, till everything is shown, then quickly throw a hail cover over it.![]()
