D4 Oil - Ok so which oil?

MR use Valvoline oil,which is also available at autobarn in 5l containers.

I do the in-between changes on mine and use it.Better not to mix oils if possible.

Make sure you get the correct grade Russ.Its the 3.0 that is the hard one to get oil for.
It has been mentioned the cheapest place to buy the oil is from a Ford dealer,the diesel Territory has the same 2.7 TDV6;););););)

MR have now been advised by Valvoline that ENV C1 5w30 is to be used in the latest D4 ( thats what I was told on an enquiry. Valvoline FE meets the specs and is available retail ,ENV C1 is not (10l drum on website) soooo wandering in an oil haze Repco had Shell Helix Professional which met 5w30,A5/B5, Ford specs and Landrover specs on the bottle!($80) Topped up with that nicely just on the max.
Dealer was unable to sell me engine oil that they use! (castrol edge pro).
Oil nuts
