Yes Gordon thats the one i meant. How/when does this light come on. As i said my rear sensors turn off but i have never seen this light, so is the vehicle detecting a trailer connected or not?

    Cheers

Read the link in my last post for details. If your sensors switch off, the light should come on, but it seems to vary from year model to year model, so test it with a bulb as per the post.

opening and closing the car doors causes the trailer LED lights to flash. Gotta love land rover electrics.

Is this common on all D4's or is it dependant on how the trailer plug has been wired. I have 2 friends with D4's (12 and 13 ym) who have this same thing happening and are wondering if its normal

Ok have wired up a bulb on the van and can confirm that the the trailer light flashes with the indicator on the side that the light is installed.Do i need to connect one on the other side as well or is it ok with just one?
