I don't think it's unfair that I continue to try and improve products, as does every other business - maybe it seems unfair to some in hindsight? But when I design something new, I try it first on my car for several months. It doesn't always work, and those versions never get released. So it would be misleading to tell people "there's a new design available soon", when I have no idea if indeed it will.

If it makes everyone happy, I'll state the obvious now - ALL my products are constantly looked at for improvement. I have no idea when they'll actually be done.

    Thanks,

    Gordon

As they were manufactured to order, and it wasn't a "stock clearance" thing, it would have been nice to have been given the option to wait a little longer for the new design. Oh well, C'est la vie.

I am in the same boat.

Some prior notice would have been appreciated.

Guys as Gordon has explained what is he to do?
Sell his remaining stock or put them aside and ship out the new stock?
No he does what any business does and sell off the old stock first. Just the way it is guys.

Haha. Gordon, you have been elevated to the likes of huge multinationals!
Guys, I have seen he old and new. The difference is one of convenience not operation.(I hope I'm right)
I think the difference would only come into play if you changed the hight position often.

I am more than happy with the older version of the rods. They do the job as advertised.

    Leave rods in or out?

Just installed my new GOE rods. Now the question is do I leave them in all the time at normal setting ready to go, or aren't they up to everyday driving and I should just fit them when I need to? The standard ones are a pain to get on and off.

Leave them on at standard height. They are fine for everyday driving.
