Mud Maps 2 sounds tempting BUT DONT DO IT

    hello,

I just though I post a reference to a post I made in the GPS forum which not everyone may read.

I case you considering buying Mud Maps 2 for the reduced $99 please think twice.

I did and got a refund within a day

I had heard mostly negative comments about it so asked them for a money back guarantee to give it a try. They were not interested, and were quite blunt.
Went with hema instead and happy.

    G'day Brett,

Did you just buy Hema maps for a device or did you buy a Hema navigator?

The hema app for my iPad, which also is used on my iPhone. Need to by the iPad version to get it free on the iPhone.

I had a hema navigator which would run my oziexplorer files, but the maps on the iPad screen are so much clearer. Oziexplorer maps might be better for some though.

iPad easier to use them navigator.

I've got the original mud maps HD on my ipad, which I've had for a while and love it. That version is now not available to buy, making you buy the new one. When I asked them whether this now means they will not support the old version they told me they would, but I have my doubts now they're putting everything into the new app.
As good as the old app is, it seems every app released needs bug fixes every time apple updates the operating system so I hope they will support, but we'll see how they go.
