    Air Bag / sensor faults

    I have a 2006 D3 V6 Petrol.
For some time I have had starting problems with this car.
I have replaced the battery twice and had the car into 3 different dealers, none of them could find a fault. (Incidentally, the airbag light comes on when this problem occurs).
I have not been able to start the car for over a week now. So today I let the RAC have a look at it.
The RAC mechanic checked the usual stuff, Spark at the plugs etc.
He then put a small amount of fuel directly into the throttle body and the car started first time and ran fine after that today. Will wait to see if it starts again tomorrow.
The computer showed no fault codes.
Could there be a fuel sensor that is stopping fuel flow or will a faulty airbag sensor prevent fuel flowing to the injectors? And as it is intermittent could it be that the cars computer does not show any fault?
Has any body had a similar fault or have any suggestions as to what may be happening?
    Thankyou.

When apparently unconnected electrical faults occur its often caused by a bad earth somewhere. There's an earth post or 2 behind the both the driver's and passenger's front footwell side kick panels and I recall others mentioned near the battery. I have no idea why the vehicle started when it did other than perhaps wiring was moved or bumped in order to put the fuel in, if the faults are being caused by a wiring fault.
