    Just looked at that link,it was started early 2010,so looks like the issue has not yet been fully sorted by LR,if there are still issues with the smart key.

    Interesting about that fuse 17.

    Maybe LR should contact the company in the add on the bottom of the page (on the link),they are 'specialists in transponder technology'

    Thanks guys batteries replaced no issues now. Sorry did a lousy search info was on other threads.
    I think my mother in law inadvertently fixed the windows when she drove it earlier in the week! Who new mother in laws were so useful

    key batteries D3

    Now I am worried!!!
    Big off road trip mid Qld/Nt WA then back to tassie via the centre soon.
    Does the D3 have a replacement rechargeable ? Mine have been great so far.

    D3 key batteries are charged when in use - in the ignition barrel.
