Replacement Jack - possible Group Buy

The Quaddro jack is to be released later this year and would be the ideal replacement for the Land Rover OE jack (see link below).

It would be difficult to get a bottle jack under a vehicle with a flat tyre unless you use the OE jack in conjunction with the bottle jack or, as jonsey63 says, get the wheel with the flat up onto something to provide enough clearance to get the bottle jack under the vehicle.

At the moment I carry a hydraulic bottle jack as well as the L R OE jack but will consider the Quaddro when they become available.

Update:
The supplier Vaughan has not been replying to any more emails unfortunately. Perhaps he is away or he is no longer interested on supplying us the jacks.
I have sent 3 unanswered emails since the last reply from him and will try again next week.

I would be very interested in the Quaddro jack. Have looked at their website and it looks like it will come on to the market this year. It has a minimum lift height of 18cm which should be ok.

Thanks, however I'll cancel my order and wait for the quaddro. Don't really fancy driving over an expensive alloy to get clearance.

Well I've got to say I'm very disappointed with Vaughan who is selling the jacks in England on eBay.

No more responses at all from him - so it looks like we have a "Fail" with this endeavour of a group buy. Sorry to get everybody's hope up.

I think I will be getting one of those exhaust balloon bag jacks, should be just the thing for sand/mud and just maybe I can store under middle seats.
