I tried an extension and hammer. Cold chisel etc but the nut would not loosen. I don’t mind winging it a bit but when the going gets tough - it’s time to pull out the big guns!!

You are aware it’s a reverse thread? You need to undo the opposite way to normal

I've got one of these.. Love it. Can be a bit to get used to the way it attaches. Paid 40 from memory
