FWIW, having had my software updated for the hesitation at junctions/roundabouts (LTB00545), have to say it's made a marked improvement. Still slight hesitation due to inertia, but no where like almost loss of power. Still early days, just being over a week, but so far so good. Consumption went up immediately after the change, as I think the adaptive had to re-learn my driving style.
Apologies for the hijack but I am very interested to hear about LTB000545 and I'll make a note to raise it at the next service. Ive read about the hesitation issue before on AULRO, only experienced it on a very minor scale up until the other day when in an unfamiliar place found myself in the wrong lane needing to zip over pronto from low speed coming up to some lights. When I tried nothing happened, it was like it went into limp mode. Then it sorted itself but luckily I wasn't trying to squeeze in front of someone.

I get what the complainers are on about now, it was really disconcerting.

Sounds like you are using your left foot for braking and if the left foot touches the brake pedal at the same time as you touch the accelerator the engine goes dead for about 5 seconds which seems an eternity.

You need the Turbo drain pipe mod to stop the smoke and it gives a big reduction in oil usage

    Warranty replacement of key

We have a 2011 D4 and the key rubber peels off due to poor glue application at the factory. This is a warranty issue and they are replacing the key.
