    Help me!!!

    Hi guys,

So my RRS sport arrived today..... Finally!

So I need to get it blue slipped as it came from vic.
I need to change the tyres over and got everything ready and almost gave myself a hernia!
I used my usual socket set and went to loosen up all the nuts before I jacked her up. Put socket on first nut, no dice!
U have a closer look, the "nut" (shinny and silver) has a bit of play in, hmmm, so I look in the manual, it says I might have locking wheel nuts so I check the rear and there is no locking nut....
Previous cars I've owned has notched style locking nuts but the "nuts" on the car just look like standard nuts....

So, how the **** do I undo the nuts????

    Please help me!

    Thanks guys!

It sounds a bit like the D2 lock nuts, on one of the them the shiny bit pulls off to expose the notched style. On them it was the dimples on the nuts that showed you which one was the lock nut, I can't remember if it was the iny or outy dimple that was the lock nut, but it was the odd one out. I don't have lock nuts on my D4, thank ***** what a pain they were.............

Make sure you use a single hex socket, that is 6 points not the usual 12 as with normal sockets.

Well... It turns out princess here should of has his wheatbix this morning!

Went back out after doing a google search and finding nothing.... Went back out, put a 3ft breaka bar on the lr socket and the nuts slowly but surely started to loosen! They were so tight I thought the car was going to roll into the house as I tried to turn them!

So all the new shoes are on and off to get a blue slip tomorrow!

Thanks for all the help guys, much appreciated!

    Brent
