I'm not 100% but I'm reasonably sure Gordon was the man that designed the wheel. He may have worked on an existing model and got those mods approved but I'm pretty certain it was his leg work.Quote:

PS +30mm offset rims on a LR are illegal in most states.
Not wanting to steal Gordon's glory but I am pretty sure the Compomotive 18 s were made for Bowler Offroad the makers of the Bowler Nemesis (based loosely on a Sport). Have a look at their website Bowler | Racing and High Performance all terrain vehicles
I was lucky to get a ride in a Nemesis last year at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Kev, I went to the Oz manufacturers first (most of them have the manufacturing contracted out to China) - none of them were prepared to take it on.
The rim design I ended up with was based on the Compomotive "Bowler" rim - they sent me out a couple of rims FOC for me to break/play/re-design. Brilliant guys to deal with and so I wouldn't consider changing now.
