    Pirelli Scorpion Atr

    Hi Guys

Haven't seen any recent posts but are these still flavour of the month and if so will either the 255 or 265 fit - any advantages of one over the other?

Have been quoted 440 each in Perth - is that about on the money?

    Cheers

They're a good all-round tyre, but depending on what vehicle you have and what you intend to do with it, there might be better value tyres for your use.

    Cheers,

had them fitted 3 months back....really quite on highways and performs good on sand and rock. perform average on mud, haven't been bogged yet but they do fine. Overall a nice set to combine daily driving and off road at times.

I had them (255/60R18) on the D3 and D4 and found them to be a good all around tyre.

255 60 18 on ebay $265 per tyre with $55 each freight to perth, so $320 a tyre delivered Perth, sure someone will fit them for less than $120 each.

This will be my next tyre, as we dont do much serious off road, so think they will suit us perfect.

$440 each is a bit rich from what I see,

    Cheers Ean

I paid $290 a tyre fitted in Sydney a couple of months ago, 440 seems steep.

Thanks - will be mainly used for highway and a bit of sand so don't need anything too aggressive, just something fairly quiet and half decent longevity. I had them on my patrol and was pretty happy but that was 5 or 6 years ago.

Tirerack.com have them at a similar price to ebay so just checking their freight costs. Could be well worth importing providing I can get someone to fit them - I doubt the brand tyre places will be too interested - anyone know somewhere NOR in Perth that would do it?

$290 in Sydney is an amazing price - nowhere in Perth can get near that - have managed to get a measly $20 off through shopping around!!

Have also heard good things about the Cooper ATR3 so may look at them as well. Have had the straight ATRs in the past and had 80k out of them, but not great cornering in the wet!

    Cheers

about 18 months max is all I get out of my Scorpions. Just highway work and not flogging it either.

They are good handling tyre though.

    scorpions

I used them over 15,000 the only problem was she I plugged the iPad in instead of the Inawise pressure monitors and got a puncture and marked the side wall so ditched the tyre.

Found a zeon in brromm for 19 inch and itawas awesome but managed to shrewd the read mud flap on the Tanami with rock flicking.

I will get the GEO rims and Cooper LTZ soon.

Has anyone had the Scorpions fitted in 19".

If so what is the feedback?

They are on ebay for less than $300.00

    Anyone got any photos.
    Cheers
