The mystery (to me at least) is that people would sell an HSE after such a short time. Mine is 18 months old and seems as good as new. I' ve progressively added the mods and can't see a reason to part with it. If someone else has taken the financial hit for driving the new car off the lot and it is still as good as new I would get the HSE.
I paid 78000 on road for tdv6 with 7 seats hiline stereo and sat nav back in may.... Newcastle area, that compares pretty well except the power, which after warranty period you could always use a chip... The tune is the only difference between the engines, or you could look at it the other way, the 155kw isn't working as hard to make the power as the 180kw, so should last longer?
HSE will hold better value in the longer term even if it's 12 months older than the TDV6.
Sounds expensive for a TDV6, and even a second hand HSE. To give you a range I got my 2012 HSE (base hse - no options) in Nov 2012 new for under $90k........no metallic paint.
