No need to worry as the truck from from brissie with dry freight, all our fish tubs etc, and goes Darwin - Brissie as chiller and freezer.

So no sneaky labelling required.:p:p Good idea tho:D

Mate of mine has them in 35inch on Nissan Patrol ute and reckons at first they were quiet but noisy as when they got 1/2 worn.

If only you had read my AULRO Courier offer a week ago. I left here on Wednesday 6 November and returned on Tuesday 12th. I went to Brisbane towing a box trailer to buy a roof top tent and 5 BFG MT tyres.

The tyres were between $401 and $407 here in Darwin (I shopped around). Got them for $255 in Brisbane.

Yep, My KM2s are only a couple of days old and I can tell you they are as quite as the 18 inch road tyres that came off at this early stage.

KM2s aren't quiet on a D3/4 though.

We have just fitted Cooper Zeon LTZ on the RRS and are very happy with them. Very quiet, just a little hum. Got them from Sydney

I did read your offer but I am able to get freight to Darwin cheap from brissie thru work anyway. My point was that if the tyre sellers in Darwin opened their eye's and put a realistic mark up for freight on the tyres they would likely get more business.

They would likely have got your business, but you opted to drive to Brissie and back, because you refused to pay $400 plus for a $255 tyre. If they added $30 or $40 per tyre you would likely have shopped here in Darwin.

An example, a standard pallet is 120 x 120 x 2000high and if you couldn't fit 6 tyres in that space then something is wrong. most pallets of tyres I see have 8 on them. Approx dry freight Brissie -Darwin $350 per pallet space with just about any freight company. That's $60 per tyre, so where does the price of $400 plus come from, if you can walk in off the street in brissie and buy tyres for $255.

What size KM2's are you getting for $255??? I was quoted $450 for A/T's:( (265/65/18)
