    Navigation: TMC in the MY13

Reading through the manual (I know...), there is reference to the TMC function in the second screen, but I don't see it on mine.

Does it need to be enabled, or does it not exist for Au D4s?

Land Rover do not have a commercial arrangement with SUNA, the only mob who provide the service in Australia. The service is encrypted (RDS and TMC) so there is no way to receive it until LR make this happen.

On the flip side there doesn't seem to be a lot of manufacturers that have. Still, it's a major annoyance give the capabilities are there but not able to be used.

IIRC the TMC module is not fitted to our vehicles.

Just thumbing through the Evoque brochure (MY13), the HDD premium sat nav option says it has TMC Dynamic Route Control. I wonder if they just forgot to take it out of the material.

It certainly would be a useful feature for those living in the city.

I just bought a new D4 HSE 2 weeks ago and saw the same thing. I rang the dealer and was told that it's not available in Australia. Agree it would be handy sometimes. We got caught on the road down to Canberra near Yerrinbool when a truck had caught fire a couple of months ago. It was fun doing 5km in 90 minutes - could have avoided it by going down the old highway if we had known.

I found a setting in the radio options that was to do with traffic - FM band from memory. Have a play there as well.

I kind of hoped it was there, as it was the Australian version of the owners manual.

It's a pity no one has done an aftermarket module for the D4.
