Yes, it does wobble and with a heavy tablet eg ASUS it was a problem, but I now have a Sony which is very light (and BTW has much better GPS).
The wobble does not bother me at all since it wobbles when driving over rough ground and I tend to need to watch where I'm going. It is fine on smooth roads. I like the position the tablet occupies. It does not affect access or view of anything.

Took your advice Fred and managed to swap the window mount for the flexi column which I also mounted under the inside front seat mount nut/ stud.
This gives an ideal height without obstructing the centre factory LCD screen .
The column is quite stiff to bend but also noticed at the iPad lotsa vibration.
Fixed that by buy a short length of 15mm thick self adhesive foam robber strip cut to about 40mm wide.
I measured a length that would wrap around the top fitting just below the tightening knob and stuck it on with both the ends meeting around the back out of sight. If you then bend the column intowards The dash the tension wants to
Keep it firm up on the foam rubber and 80% of movement gone!
Did have to grind off about 3 mm at the end of the bottom bracket as the seat stud wasn't quite long enough to fit thru and pick up the removed seat securing nut. Trying it out this weekend. Will throw up some pics of the above tomorrow.

The Ram people may have changed the lower bracket as I did not have to make any alterations to fit the mount. I did shorten the upright bar by about 6cm which positioned the tablet lower and significantly reduced the wobble. Since the mount moves with the seat I have not restained it further. The charger cable has a dampening effect too.
If you’re a little bit handy and have the time you could make your own.
I knocked this one up as a trial and it works really well. Rock solid in all conditions and I can use my tablet to take pictures / videos while driving.
The tablet attaches to one of those ‘clip in’ tablet cases via ebay. I just removed all the surplus flappy bits and screwed it onto the timber frame.
The frame has an angle which tucks under the lip of the dash above the navigation screen and is simply zip tied at the other end thru the demister vent. The zip ties were a temporary fix while I was making it but have turned into a permanent method. Rubber U section from Clark rubber protects the dash and provides great grip.
As a compromise for visibility it overlaps the nav screen by 5 to 10mm so it covers the menu bar. As for the road ahead, very little vision is lost ie much less than a tom tom stuck to the windscreen
