Meken, you can follow the D4 path if you are interested. It should be easier for you to do on the D3 than us on the D4 as there are so many items in the market to support you. The Pioneer unit is 163mm deep, just find out if you have that behind the console Plus room for cables. There are face plates ready to go for the D3 and harnesses. If the pioneer is too expensive for your budget there are cheaper units. Let me know if you need help, selecting one.Quote:

Hey Sheerluck, just curious with that that IPUM unit that is linked, is that the one you used and if so, does it have a auto sleep/detect function when the 12v power is removed. i guess with the button mod, it doesn't have a auto on function. I assume it auto detects the AV signal and switches to the camera?
