    For anyone reading this later:

Long screwdriver and push down the two tabs inside from above. This gives you a bit of play to work with. Then on the outside, push the tabs down from above hard with the screwdriver while pulling out, the front tab will come easy, the back tabs take some work, and serious pulling, to finally free it. It will just pop out then.

    Cheers all!
    thanks Ben,
just confirming you are pushing the tabs from inside, your refering to from inside the engine bay?
    about to do mine

Yup inside under the bonnet hinges, get a torch and a long screwdriver and you'll see what I mean.

I'm the same I have a matte black grille and vent kit.

Check out lrparts.net for pricing gaz, they're UK based.
    Hi Guys,

as a suggestion why don't you look at doing it yourself? Ultimately its only black paint. You have a few different options, all which will cost you much much less than getting parts or the black pack from LR.

At this stage mine have been plasti dipped, so far 12 months on all good. best thing is it can be returned to normal when I want (just peels off) Its cost me approx $60. Otherwise there is a wheel place up the road that does it for $300. Or you can do it yourself, just time and prep.

Just trying to provide another perspective.

    Cheers

That's true. Though I wanted to keep the originals in case I ever want to put it back to original to sell it. But definitely a cheaper option to DIY

You can go back to original. Plus the Plasti Dip protects the wheels and vents, wheels are still like new underneath, with no impact from brake dust or chips.

I'm thinking of doing the same with my wheels, was that a pro job or you did it yourself?

Easy done yourself, plenty of utube video's on how to do them. Easiest off the car, clean well, use cardboard cards between the tyre and the rim and in a couple of hours its done.
