You can get some spray in cleaner that can help.
B&S put some in mine and it helped.

Is it blowing heaps of black smoke?

This happened to ours when the intercooler to turbo pipe split on ours (as Graeme mentioned above).

That is pretty poor. This is a pov pack with springs all round!
Still got lots of electricity flowing through it thou!

Cycling the ignition does solve the issue, so this is something to look into further.

I suggested a better cleaner, its not a spray bottle thou. It comes in a jerry can and you simply pour it on, around and in the vehicle!

No smoke that i am aware of!

I will attempt to get this on a code reader this week. My uncle is using the vehicle today and it has not had the fault as yet!
He did confirm that as well as the light show in the information centre is does bong/chime to notify of the warning.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions to date, give us something to prepare for once the codes are read!

    Cheers

yes, BCM, what was the code, do you have a code reader? if not you need to have it looked at by someone with diagnostic gear.

I did not see the codes read my self but I believe it was something along the lines of 'incorrect data received'.

What is od is this is a coil sprung pov pack disco I though BCM was related to the air system?

May have to get it read again!

I'm pretty sure the BCM also controls A/C, power windows, odometer and lots of other stuff hanging off the body too.
