Hahah ............... you can still embarrass yourself in sand even after you're familiar with how to drive it in sand.
I very nearly proved that point at Coffin Bay on the way back from Tassie. Had been on sand plenty of times and never had a problem ............. until forgetting that after you shut the engine down and re-start, you have to push the little button on the dash again.
But nobody was looking - and after a sluggish start, I woke up ...................![]()

As you will see in plenty of other posts let your tyres down to 18 or less, even with 19 inch wheels and standard tyres, and remember to turn off DSC every time you change any setting or stop and start the engine.
I also use low range unless touring on hard sand as some of the car's settings need low range to put them in proper off road mode.
