Fitted a 40" Hella E series bar ( rigid industries) across the front of my pioneer tray and it works a beauty!! Used a IPF switch on the dash as it was way smarter looking then the one it came with and matched the existing IPF switch for the Hid spotties. Really happy with it and great quality fittings. ( pg 32 show us your disco) ended up blacking the bonnet due to reflection but not fussed about that as it looks kinda different
Actually scrub my above comment. I was checking with the plug unplugged from the light. Plugged it in and working as expected
Hi Mark, this diagram should help you and as Sniegy posted, the high beam wire on the passenger side is Blue with a "SLATE" ( grey ) trace.
You can find this wire in the loom at the plug that connects to your passenger side headlight assembly.
NOTE it is a very easy and simple task to remove the headlight assembly to get access to the loom.
Run a wire from the BLUE/SLATE high beam wire, into the cab.
Fit a standard ON/OFF switch and then run another wire out to one side of the coil on your relay.
It's all there in the diagram.
NOTE the YELLOW wire coming off the other side of the switch is not require, but if you fit an ON/OFF/ON type switch, you can wire the switch as shown and you can then turn the driving lights on without having any other lights on.
Good for setting up a campsite at night because your headlight only work with the ignition ON.

Hi Tim.
I understand the standard wiring for a switch/relay.
A question about the yellow wire as Ive never seen a wiring diagram like it before. The yellow wire supplies 12V to trip the relay, correct???,so this 12V must be from a permanently live supply, correct????
A use I can see is on aux reversing LED lamps, using the 3 way switch they could be switched either by selecting reverse or manually as you suggest for setting up camp etc.
Cheers
Andrew
One slight correction to that diagram... instead of running negative from driving lights to battery, it should go to an earth stud on the body.
Also correct, and very good point.
Its an old diagram, so when I get some time I will update it.
Thanks Jonesy
Hi Tim, I used your dwg and picked off high beam wiring from the lhs.
Mine looks like this
