Ahh yep ok, I read the manual on Topix, new RRS has a green marker at the selected HDC speed that displays on the speedo dial - one of the nice things about having a full LCD instrument cluster. D4 will display the speed when setting the speed via the cruise control buttons, once set the HDC speed is not displayed.
Yes as I was driving off the thought crossed my mind to take the single range sport for a spin to see the difference between the dual range and single range.
I guess it will come around again
Looks like fun. Is this somewhere open to the public, if yes, do you have directions on where the trails are.
It was at the mount cotton driver training centre operated by Queensland transport. I don't think it's open just for general public use, it's more training organisations etc. I did motorcycle training there years ago and it was run by team moto which is who I bought my bike from. I think the various areas need to be "hired" for half or full day. It also has a skid pan, 2 high speed tracks, an open bitumen pad for practicing emergency avoidance manoeuvres (braking, steering etc).
