Just about to start on the rear and then I will have changed out pretty much every suspension bush and steering component and lots more to boot. Madness I know ... But ... I like my disco so it can be rationalised as cheaper than a new car and better the devil you know and like !

    Also V8

    G'day Mick

I note you got your Dunlop branded struts from Allmakes ex UK. I guess for a good price. Just interested if you had any trouble getting them sent from UK. My experience has been that the supplier I contacted is saying they carry a hazardous goods rating & cannot be sent by air ... & even by sea is an enormous hassle for them because of paperwork. Be interested in your comments.

I enquired with Arnott a few months back. They told me they only did front air struts. They had no offering for the rear. Seemed pretty pointless to proceed on that basis.

going down te complete strut replacement about mid year, D3 has 195 k km on it and no hard work, very small bit of beach work only so the suspension has held up well given the kms.

I'm looking at going the genuine LR complete struts with airbags from the UK but interested as to what other bits and bobs should be considered as well.

I'll do these myself as it does not seem to a be a difficult job.

Imagine that other parts of the suspension, bushes etc are probably getting worn.

Anyone have a list of what else I should go over and replace?

    ta muchly

    cheers
    prs
