I love nothing more than planting the foot off the lights, the sound of the V8 and the surge that comes from the twin turbo's is fantastic. If I can blow off a prado, landcruiser or patrol then why not. But once I have made my point and enjoy the power I generally settle back and just cruise

If your under 30, in anything more than an automotive joke (A to B car), you'll get a hoon law thrown at you .. and have the car dismembered and inserted in your colon piece by piece.

    Peace out.
I would be VERY interested to see how a hoon law could be applied IF:
    There was no wheel spin
    The lane was adhered to
The speed limit was not breached

I stamped on the gas in a mates 4.2 V8 TD Audi, now that was incredible.

Probably weighs a bit less than three ton though.

Oh,and the D4 would kill it up a sand dune

It is shod with 22' rims which is not real good for comfort, the D4 is way better, even with LT's.

    suggestion-

Next time your sitting next to a Hwy Patrol bloke at a set of lights (even if they are in an unmarked tojo)
    Try this experiment.

Slam the pedal to the metal - but only up the speed limit.

WHEN the cop pulls you over and books you - in preparation for the insertion of metal parts - try saying

"Your just P__ed off because I beat you in the heap of crap your driving".

let us all know how you go.. lol

There are plenty of ways to make life interesting. Some of them are not the best option, but the roar of a v8 is very primal so who can resist.

Mate , has a new 200 that has been chipped and 3 1/2 " exhaust , sounds like a V8 and goes better than my disco 3 , but not as good as the bosses SRT , it lifts the front when you give it the boot, cant go that well off road though ...

Those V8 TD Q7s are super fast and amazing that engine although not very good off road i guess there made generally for thundering up the autobahns in Europe but still a fast car.

Although the D4s arnt super fast still a good rush when you give it a boot plus they can handle off road to!!

I was surprised it actually has air suspension, with different settings.

And a bigger fuel tank than the D4.

Off road, absolutely no hope,no comparison at all to a Disco.
