Can one book in to a dealer and have them check and update all relevant firmware - gearbox, entertainment etc,?
I'd imagine an indy probably can't do this??
I had my D2 done years ago as there was an update. Was done free of charge.

Not a huge lot, but the auto did change a bit smoother and seemed to up shift each gear a bit quicker. But I only noticed the changes for a short while then you get used to how it is and you soon forget how it was.
I do know one thing I was there when they did the updates and they did the auto on its own then it threw up all sorts of fault codes and couldn't be driven. It took them a little while to realise they had to update the transfer case software at the same time, once also done then all was good.
Cheers,
Terry
