I am running the GG AT2 in 275 65 18 on my new ride.
After 4000 k I have found them to be excellent on road both wet & dry.
Good on gravel roads.
Have not really been in mud yet.
My only criticism would be that they seem to pick up the recycled concrete we put down on site & then stay in the tread for a while.
The tread is very deep so perhaps this is the reason.
$350 ea fitted & balanced.
What size rims are you running?
If you are planning trips like that I think there are better options. Although the AT2 looks like a BFG they don't perform as well. I had a lot of problems with chipping on rough roads/tracks with them on my D3. Also ran the AT for a while but didn't do enough rough stuff to form an opinion.
Cheers,
Jon
Thanks Chuck, good to see your success with the 275.65, do you run rods or lift in any way?
If I was going with that size I would definitely get the Hancooks MT

good price and fantastic reviews, not as aggressive as most MTs and reportedly much quieter.
