    LLAMS ???

Many people here seem to have the accessory Llams. If it is not a stupid question:
    1) what does it do?
    2)what does it cost?
    3)where do you get it?
    Thanks Mark

Allows you to manually adjust the standard height settings that come with the D4. Mine is set to the standard +30mm +50mm or -20mm (i think)
It also means that you can drive in excess of 50kmph without the d4 dropping to standard height, which is a bonus on rough tracks, beach etc

    2)what does it cost?

About 600 bucks from memory (check with the guy- see point 3)

    3)where do you get it?

    Thanks Mark
    Hope that helps

In My opinion one of the First things to be fitted to help aid the vehicle in off road conditions. Not that the vehicle is not capable of off roading to begin with.

Highly recommend it. (Was one of the first things i did :-) )

    Cheers

I love it. Use it every day to fit in an underground car park with a roof top tent. Plus off road it makes a big difference if you need a bit extra clearance.

Probably by using the LLAMS low setting in combination with locked LR low. Drops another 25ish mm from memory.

Wont drop below standard access height - that is as far as she goes and you dont need LLAMS for that.

If you are at -20mm on LLAMS and go to access height the system alarms and goes to extended mode and rises and if you are at 0 on LLAMS and lock access height and then select -20mm on LLAMS the alarm sounds and tries to go into extended mode but cannot lift as it is locked and stays at Access Height - so certainly on my car there is no way to go below Access Height with LLAMS.

    Cheers

Hi Gary, my 05 will. If you also press the mode button at Access -20mm it will drop even further. That's when I get the alarm but it doesn't raise unless you change something.
