no faults codes at all. suspension working fine, just want to be 100% confident that the issue will not arise again. i am thinking, the emergency air kit is the way to go considering the compressor is working fine. the car has done only 83,000kms

Absolutely agree with that. Fraser really doesn't need any mods for a decent 4x4 with reasonable clearance I have been all over Fraser in a Stock standard 1993 Suzuki Vitara equipped only with a snatch strap. You will need a snatch strap and rated shackles. After that GOE rods or Llams would be my first mod for sand along with a compressor which you already have and then maxtrax which you also already have.
Did you get your mechanic to check your fault codes?
Hi Andrew, as mentioned i dont get any fault codes, everything seems good. Gonna have a service done and have asked to check the compressor standards. I got everything u have mentioned above, GOE rods and Emergency Air Kit on the way, snatch strap, shakles, on board compressor and maxtrax.
Sounds like you are just about sorted..... you will love Fraser - awesome place.
thank you all guys...pretty confident that i made the right decision with all your advises....
Don't forget DSC off and enjoy. It's on my list of places to visit.
One thing to be mindful of is that sometimes the creeks crossing the beach are not easily seen and you can come to grief if you hit them too fast. There is, or was when I visited, an 80 kph speed limit on the beach which is an official road and you can be booked for speeding. Agree with the others, it's a fantastic place, you'll love it.
will have a 5 month old dude in the back seat so will be making only 60 or 70 max speed...will take it easy and play is safe...thanks all for the insight....will keep my eyes peeled....
