When I first got the car, I was using a Scanguage. That showed me the computer was always out by around 1. I no longer use the scanguage, but also haven't really taken much notice of the figures since - it usually just sits on the the ol' standard odometer or trip meter A.
It also doesn't help that I work from home, so most trips during the week are within a 3km radius. I'll never get good economy when I don't stretch it's legs. Towing economy is only a little above non-towing when you look at the graph over the 90 odd full tanks because of that - the last 10 up at 18 l/100 was really due to towing against 80km winds for a while that it went through the roof....
When I have a run down to Phillip Island - a few hundred km return, no towing - I've deliberately reset the computer then and had between high 8s and low 10s, so really 9s to 11s. I'm fine with that....:)
