No DC front driveshaft - Hoho!

(Is it too early to celebrate?)

Dropped all the undercover plates off the "new" D3 the other day.
Of interest was the drive-shafts which appear to have no universals, or no service points.
What is the go? Do they self-destruct at a certain stage? Do you get a warning?
Lots of questions...ask me why I am paranoid.

    Ex D2 owner?

The D3 has independent suspension which means the diff is fixed to the body. Fixed = no movement between diff & transfer case so there's no need for universal joints.
