Alternative to Mitch Hitch?

Mr LR is spot on - the main support that the Mitch Hitch bolts to is the tow point which is a rough cast and has dags and other bits that need a bit of trimming to smooth them off - particularly inside the ring where the plastic bushes go in - nothing to do with the Mitch Hitch itself.

I've just checked the instructions again and nowhere do they say to check the vehicles receiver for dags etc.
Of course I can see the mitch is fabricated but that doesn't mean it wouldn't have welding splatter or other manu crap on it.
As far as I'm concerned me nose will stay on me face.......:D
