Will be collecting my disco this Sat. Can't believe the dealer is charging 2600 for paint protection, interior, tint etc. Am getting a trusted detailer to do it for half the price.
Was closed to buying a second hand 2013 Disco. but I think the owner recently changed their brakes/rotors with non genuine parts. The feedback sorta steer me off this purchase. For not too much of a price difference, got a showroom demo with lots of extra. thanks folks!
Wise move. I just had mine in for it's first annual inspection and dug out the invoice in case they needed it. I had window tinting (3M Colour Stable 35), Opticoat paint protection, Optiguard interior protection (fabric/leather/vinyl) and Opticoat Outer on the rims to help with the brake dust. $2600 what a bloody scam rip off bastards!! I wouldn't bother myself with all of that paint and interior protection had it on a prado before seemed to make it easy to wash for the first 2 months then after that went to what a normal car would be!Quote:
