I can see why you might want to with a trailer etc... if it is not detected properly.
But I'd think twice about doing it permanently if I was you.

I will eventually try and get them working properly but I do have a reversing camera. I have a Kaymar rear bar with two spares on it. The sensors are in the bar but I can't seem to trace the fault. For now I just want to kill the annoying flashing light. I will recheck CB position tomorrow.

Does the Karmar have the aluminium plates under each tire?
This is a little tricky to see, but this is mine with Kaymar single carrier.

Can you see the aluminium checker plate piece that sits under the wheel? That is there to help avoid the sensors picking up the wheel some how.
If yours doesn't have that.... that could be part of the cause.

I think others have also had success with a thin strip of gaffer tape over the very top edge of each sensor.
