    End of Warranty Service

Our D4 is out of warranty in March and will be getting a mechanical check before then. Any ideas of a good independant in the Southern Sydney metro area ?
    Cheers Mike

You may find your local LR dealer can also do a pre out of warranty check,at a very reasonable price.

They found a couple of issues with mine, and were extremely helpfull.
It is now out of warranty and they are still monitoring a couple of things.

i also had a check by the indi i use as well, while it was being serviced. The couple of small things they found were also repaired by the dealer.

Peter Davis, Roving Mechanical and Adrian from A.S Automotive, Peter and Adrian are good friends and will share the load with Land Rover work, we use both Peter and Adrian, Peter for the Disco and Adrian for our VW Amarok and Golf, Peter did our end of warranty service.

Adrian worked for Graeme Cooper for 19yrs, left when he sold it.

Most of the state automotive user groups such as NRMA will offer a vehicle check for end of warranty purposes as well.

RACQ here used to have a very good service but when I had mine done at end of warranty couple of years back they were hopeless. A monkey could have done abetter job. I did complan about it to no avail, had a thread on here and RACQ had it pulled as they threatened AULRO with legal action.

    I'll never use RACQ again

Hopefully NRMA will offer a better service, 3 pronged approach of mechanic, Landie dealer and NRMA should pick up most issues so you can have them addressed under warranty.

    Good luck!

I had mine done by the dealer. I was very happy when they did the turbo drain mod, yet I did not notice any smoke at all.

Another benefit of using a dealer is if there are any outstanding service actions or even Recalls the dealer will know about it & carry them out FOC.
An indi won't have any idea about what outstanding actions need to be carried out.
We offer a Free End Of Warranty Check. Cant see why others dealers don't/won't?

    Cheers
