If you have a HSE you should have the camera system Look at page 97 of the manual under heading "Cameras"
My MY13 came with all the bells and whistles which included the camera system, Sat Nav, larger sound system. But it also came with the price
to match.

A couple of tips that may help.
1. You can use a photo copy of the OEM target sticker.
2. You can laminate the photo copy or make a sandwich between two clear perspex sheet to make it more durable.
3. Once the target is made durable you can use a wide variety of methods to fix it (temporary or permanent) to your trailer.

I have a 21'6" tandem do you measure from the tow ball to a position between the two of wheels for axle position
and once the caravan is set up on the on board computer is set, can you remove the sticker or leave it on.
Sorry I am 63 this way and not up to speed on this modern technical stuff

I am pretty sure that the measurement for a tandem axle trailer is taken from the ball/hitch to the front axle. You will find the details in the handbook somewhere. You need to select the type of trailer from the list of options during set-up. This information is stored by the car. You can store the details for several different trailers which saves you from having to re-enter the data for each trailer again.
You need the target fixed to the trailer when you start driving so that the system can calibrate itself and the target is detected when the car is reversed to supply the information to enable the computer to predict the track the trailer will follow. Without the target the computer doesn't "know" where the trailer is.

The reversing camera assist is only available with the surround camera package.
If you ONLY have the reverse camera, then you do not have the hitch assist function available.
your right - we have the 2011 - had to get surround camera option to get the hitch assist.Quote:
