    Aux Battery retention bracket

Hi all, my D3's aux battery didn't have a bracket to hold the aux battery in place. Just thinking its about time I got onto fixing that and was wondering where the best place to get one would be?

The Traxide guys have an excellent tray and hold down which comes as part of the kit we have fitted to the D4. So maybe then can supply for you

Or and based on a reasonable amount of outback touring, I only use metal battery straps and threaded posts with nylons. I find the endless corrugations shatters plastic which is not nice when it is restraining 20-40kg of battery

    Hi Shane.
I presume you mean the battery tie-down bracket for an auxiliary battery on the driver's side?

Tim will say that it is more effective for you to get a set directly from Land Rover than him post them to you. I got mine from Southern Landrover, they had to order them in, which only took a couple of days.

    The part numbers are:
    RO-YJF500100 (Battery Bracket)
    RO-XYG000051 (Bolt)
    RO-XYG500061 (Bolt)

They should cost you about $23 total.

    Have fun,
    Cheers,
    Chris

I have a spare one that I don't need including the long bolts. PM me your address and I'll send it to you.
