Mine just lives in the glovebox.
Had to use it once after travelling on that wonderful road between Alice Springs and Finke.By far the worse corrugations i have ever seen. The corrogations must have tripped it.
The vehicle was loaded, and the fridge lives in the back against the jack compartment,so if it was kept there i would have had to do some unloading to get it out.:(
I didn't really know which part of the market place to advertise it, but incase anyone has broken or lost their own, I bought one unnecessarily. Sigh!

Mine just sits in the cubby beside my right leg. Only used it once and that was at a remote WA stop (Gascoyne Junction from memory) where the fuel filler bloke complained of the time taken to get fuel into a fellow travellers D4.
He didn't want to fill mine because of it but was happy when he knew what the prob. was and how easy it was to fix.
AlanH.
Interestingly I had to use the one in my Range Rover on a recent trip and I didn't even misfuel the car. One day it was just really difficult to fill the car on the trip and I thought it must have been the bowser. It kept happening at each fuel stop until I thought about the misfuel system. Sure enough that fixed it. As stated in another post the corrugations must have tripped it or something.
