Bigger fuel tank.
18" wheels standard on 3ltr.
Accurate fuel gauge/trip computer.
My car is 3.5 years old now and by
far the best car I've ever owned.
I actually like the cruise control. It lets the car slow down a bit up hills, just like I would if I was in control. I don't like it when the cruise control blasts the vehicle over the top of the hill at full speed. I've found that even when towing, selecting a lower gear will maintain the set speed up hills, so that is an option if it slows down too much.
I would like 120l fuel tank, more control over off road aids, longer lasting front bushes, external shocks for the air suspension like the rears on the L322, more consideration to accessing parts such as turbos and belts for servicing.
I can't agree with the poster that has squeaks and rattles. Mine has done 180,000km with tens of thousands of km off road and on very rough tracks and roads around Australia and it is the tightest car I have ever seen. Nothing moving anywhere.

The tailgate design is one of my favourite features. Only LC, disco and rr get it right imo.
Mine is still tight as a drum like yours bob - just shy of 150,000km and 10 years old -no rattles or squeaks at all.
That is fine, each to their own and as I said LR will not build another Disco like this, but for me a opening rear door with the spare mounted to it is far more user friendly then the present D3/4 configuration. If you are basically only going to use it as a day to day driver with no serious off roading or outback touring then the present design with the spare bolted under the vehicle is fine, but if your seriously going to use the vehicle off road then who wants the spare fitted under the vehicle? Plus with it mounted up on a door then they have all the room they want for a much larger fuel tank as a standard feature.

Make it reliable. ..
Mine is ten years old, reliability has never been a problem. It just needs TLC more often.

For me, there's very little I'd change now. And it's by far the best car I've owned.
Suspension Control. As much as I love having Llams and am so impressed with what Graeme has created, I think this control should have come as stock. The driver needs to be able to be responsible for its use. This is what Llams (or GOE rods) gives. The stock arrangement is a little too "lowest common denominator". Perhaps a higher speed cutout would be a good compromise or just making it a conscious programming decision the driver can make to go into (and stay in) offroad height, plus get into extended height. These things should not be work-arounds.
DSC. Ability to keep it off. Similar reasoning to suspension. But perhaps only when in terrain modes.
Wheels. I think I'd get the GOE Compomotive wheels even if there was a choice but there should be a stock 18".
Fuel Tank. A bit more, even just 10L, but not at the expense of the tailgate, which I love.
Cheers,
Scott
