I am another Iidtool owner. I have the Bluetooth version.
When you first use the device it copies and stores all the data so that if you screw it up you should be able to restore and start over.
Adjustment and resets fault reading can be done with cruise control buttons, the radio buttons and/or by Bluetooth connection to a phone or tablet.
I have saved a few suspension configurations to the memory on the device. Provided the doors are shut and the engine running the car can be reconfigured with a similar effect as changing suspension rods. Very easy. Impresses the spectators if done from the phone when outside the car.
