They do,but are much harder to keep nice and clean, particularly if white. Also, if you do a bit of beach work, you will notice some very small rust marks in some areas, particularly along edges. The white bar also shows scratches and marks easier than black bars.
I have had both, next time will probably go back to black.
[QUOTE=pprass;2363611]Here is the new OL bullbar fitted to our new MY14 TDV6. Looks very similar to the ones in Tombie's picture, which is odd as I was told that there are just 2 of these currently in Australia

Out of interest, does the bar have the headlight washer installed, because I couldn't see it in the pic. Do you have the xenon upgraded lights?

I'm finally having one fitted to my MY14 HSE in a couple of weeks by Opposite Lock in Welshpool WA. This is on recommendation from other members who have had it done there.
I agree about the run-around, most of the main dealers are franchises and I doubt there is any meaningful communication between them. Some know how to do it, some don't. If you are not in WA, I suggest you get your local OL dealer to phone OL Welshpool to get himself educated!
My local 4wd mechanic - Midcoast 4wd Centre in Port Macquarie NSW. They are an OL dealer as well and Darryn the principal was able to get one of 2 of these bars that are currently in Aus from one of the OL directors - the one that I got was supposed to go on the director's vehicle!
