I have been running 38/42 while towing and have been watching my tpms and if you believe it and the 4 psi rule I reckon I need another couple of pounds to bring it to above
The values shown by the tpms tend to a bit less than my gauge but you can still look at the increase in psi as you travel

Something else to think about for those who are running equal pressures front and rear. Land Rover recommend a higher pressure in the rear. There's a reason they do that - even unladen the rear tyres will see more load than the fronts.
Whatever pressures you run, it's a good idea to maintain that 4-6psi differential front to rear.
Cheers,
Jon
With wranglers and scorpions (several sets and much experimentation) I run 36/40 in mine.
I rarely let any air out offroad (in very mild) unless the trail is seriously degraded or on sand.
I run 36/42 when towing my little van.
I am always doing a mix of tracks, gravel roads and country highway I like to run at 33/36. Any higher than this and the ride becomes harsh. I only go higher than this if towing heavy loads. Just changed my general grabbers for a set of goodyear wrangler MT/R's. Will see how these go at this pressure.
Bandi you must have 17" rims? MTRwKevlar is an excellent tyre and we ran them for a couple of years across Australia and they are the absolute best off-road tyre we have ever used in 15 years of touring and training. Much better all round than the Cooper STTMax we did back to back testing with in regard to quieter, greater all round grip but nothing with this tread pattern grips really well in the wet and off road we found the level of traction meant we spent more time in high range. Effectively they gave us an extra gear or two, just amazing I have to say. Just a pity we can't get them in 18" in Australia.
In regard to pressures we ran 34 bare to moderately loaded and full loaded (1850 rear axle load on a Prado) we ran 38). The tyres are so strong you can run lower pressures at higher loads. In sand we would regularly air down to 14 psi with no problems

Bandi, if you are interested I have two 255/55/19 MTR's that I bought off Gordon as spares before I got the 18 inch tyres. Probably about 50% worn. If you need any extras or to replace a damaged one you are welcome to them. I don't need them any more and they are cluttering up my shed.
