60 profiles, understood. Actually Gordon's sheet states yes for fitment of 265/65 and no rubbing remark.

Could you ask your Mate where they might rub. I run a ARB bar, this may provide a bit more clearance.

I do a lot of Vic high country touring, the extra wall height is highly desirable.

Gerald he's on the Southern Flinders with his family so it will be a week or so before he gets back. Every tyre has a different profile and every vehicle has a different setup so variables are a constant. I know that his D4 has an ARB bar and his tyres do rub. I doubt the bar has much to do with it though. You have other options to help in the high country. Gordon's rods or llams kit amongst others. Tyres are but one component of a lift for any 4WD albeit the cheapest one for sure.

    Hi Rob,

Thanks, no hurry, it would be good to find out where they do rub and under what conditions!

I do use Gordon's rods, they are simple and a fantastic addition.

I like the look of the new KO2 and the write up so far is very positive. Like many others, the reason for a LT construction is the toughness of sidewall as I tow a lot and often bring the pressure down to 25-20 PSI is serious conditions with near GVM limits fully loaded.

The GG 255/55R19 have been a wonderful all round AT tyre, but they do tend to suffer from sidewall damage, mainly cuts and chunks missing is normal with many tracks with a slate base, but they stay intact.

I do agree each tyre and vehicles have their variables.

    Graeme, OK on size, thanks.

    Regards

    Gerald

Looking at these USA release dates, you would have to think the 265/65/18 may not be far away

    Hi Rob,

Any news from your mate, does he use Gordon's rods when extra articulation is needed?

Still keen to find out the subtle rubbing. To get the best from Gordon's rims, the 265/65 do provide greater space between rims and surface.

There is a guy here in Melbourne who takes orders for any tyre(s) and qty, and bulk ships out the USA on a per container basis.

My brother just received 1 BFG LT35 muddy for $280. Called him and he is willing to take any order and qty if available in U.S.

    Regards

    Gerald

Gerald not yet still enjoying a well earned rest with his family and I know he is still in the southern flinders as we share the same disco expert in Adelaide and we had our LLams kit fitted today and Peter said he was helping Dave with a small challenge with battery terminals

Will be post school holidays but as I have mentioned rub at full articulation and that is without llama

    Regards

    Rob

I wish they would hurry up. I just had to put two half knackered old tyres on the front to replace the completely knackered ones that were on there to try and drag it out a bit further. If they don't arrive soon it will be The D697s

I really hope you are right

My mail says 245/70/17 October,265/60/18,no plans for it this year.

And that was on an email from BFG Aus,dated last week.

If you are really keen, they are on Tirerack, but the price delivered will be ridiculous.
